SCP Network - Support Specialist

Hours : Full-time M-F (some projects require other hours)
Employee Agreement: Required

Job Summary:
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN and multiple operating systems; plan and implement preemptive systems maintenance to improve network stability and performance.
  • Document technical procedures performed and design, implement and integrate network components to meet current and future client needs
  • Proactively monitor network systems
  • Perform client application and desktop support
Skills, Knowledge, and Education:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Detail Oriented with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of Windows 2003 Servers and domain controllers in addition to MS Exchange, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SNMP, SMTP & POP
